ABSTRACT: The role of early childhood education in reducing anxiety is crucial for understanding how early educational experiences help children manage stress and anxiety. This study explores how early childhood education programs influence the reduction of anxiety in young children. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's ability to manage anxiety, (2) evaluate the integration of anxiety-reducing activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's emotional well-being. A survey design is employed to gather comprehensive data on the role of early childhood education in reducing anxiety. A purposive sample of 120 children  from preschools in Sokoto State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool renowned for its anxiety-reducing activities. Findings revealed significant improvements in children's ability to manage anxiety, the effectiveness of anxiety-reducing activities, and positive changes in children's emotional well-being. Recommendations included integrating anxiety-reducing activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to support children's ability to manage anxiety.
